Lam Dong considered potential host of Craft Village Fair

Crafts from various regions and communities in Vietnam will be on display for this occasion. Attendees can expect to see beautifully crafted products made from ceramics, wood, fabric, bamboo, and flowers.

 

This is an ideal opportunity for craftsmen and craft villages across Vietnam to showcase their products and connect with potential new markets. Additionally, organizers hope to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the traditional features of Vietnam’s culture, particularly its crafts.

Craft Village Fair is a yearly event organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with local authorities. The fair serves not only as an exhibition for crafts in Vietnam but also as a platform for international visitors to learn more about the unique aspects of various communities across the country. The last fair, held in Dong Nai, was a resounding success, featuring 150 different units from various craft villages throughout Vietnam.

 

Vietnam currently boasts numerous traditional craft villages that have preserved their unique products in various forms such as bamboo, ceramics, wood, food, and bronze. These villages are distributed across different regions, most notably in the Red River Delta, Central Highlands (Tay Nguyen), and the Mekong Delta.
