Con Dao Island Among World's 25 Most Beautiful Beaches

Occupying 18th place out of the 25 most beautiful beaches voted by the well-known Travel and Leisure magazine, Dam Trau Beach has contributed to affirming the great potential of Con Dao on the world's beach tourism map.

According to experts from Travel and Leisure, it is tough to choose the best one among the countless stunning beaches in Vietnam, but Dam Trau Beach in Con Dao deserves a brilliant candidate when owning a soft and golden sand with shady bamboo groves and evergreen trees.

In addition to Vietnam's excellent representative, the beautiful beaches showing the appearance on the list of Travel and Leisure are Saud Beach (Philippines), Elafonissi Beach (Greece), Nungwi Beach (Tanzania), Hanalei Beach (Hawaii, USA), Copacabana Beach (Brazil), etc.

This is not the first time that Con Dao has appeared in the tourism rankings of the world's prestigious newspapers. Earlier, Con Dao was one of two Southeast Asian representatives to be listed in Top 52 Places to visit in 2021 by New York Times. In 2019, Travel and Leisure's list of 13 Places Where You Can See the Bluest Water in the World named Con Dao - a rare Asian representative to appear in this ranking. Previously, Planet Lonely newspaper listed Con Dao of Vietnam as a part of Best Places in Asia consecutively in 2016 and 2017.
