Chi Hamlet, Ha Giang - an attractive community-based tourism destination

Cultural tourism to ethnic minority hamlets in Vietnam has received considerable attention from foreign tourists seeking unspoiled environments and breathtaking natural landscapes. Among these destinations, Chi Hamlet stands out as a prime example.

With robust support from local authorities in Ha Giang Province, Chi Hamlet, located approximately 14km from the Quang Binh District, has been developed to meet the growing demand for immersive cultural tourism experiences.

Foreign visitors often describe their experiences in the hamlet as uniquely memorable, offering encounters that are hard to find anywhere else in the world. Of the four ethnic groups residing in the area, the Tay people constitute 96%, with the remaining populations being Kinh, Nung, and Dao.
