Danang International Airport reports accommodating around 350 Russian passengers per day, with expectations for an additional influx of approximately 15,000 Russian tourists from June through August this year.
Russian travelers are primarily attracted by Vietnam's stunning tropical beaches and the country's rich natural beauty. Many choose to visit during the summer to escape the harsh winters of Russia. Additional factors contributing to this trend include affordable travel costs and the ongoing efforts by Vietnamese authorities to enhance the experience for Russian visitors.

As of 2025, Russia ranks 8th in the list of top tourism markets for Vietnam, with Russian tourists often spending more than travelers from other countries, frequently exceeding the average by 25-45%.
