Cat Ba Voted Among 11 Must-visit National Parks Worldwide By American News

The American website BuzzFeed has recently listed Cat Ba among the 11 national parks in the globe that everyone should add to the bucket list.

Established in 1986, Cat Ba national park is located around 150 km from Hanoi capital and 45 km from Hai Phong city. Belonging to Cat Ba Archipelago Biosphere Reserve which was recognized by UNESCO in 2003, the national park spreads out on 263 square kilometers in which 173 square kilometers is land and 90 square kilometers is inshore water. The diverse ecosystem, both terrestrial and marine life and the stunning beauty of the unique karst mountain on the emerald water make Cat Ba National Park the only representative in Southeast Asia to be listed in the top 11.

When choosing Cat Ba National Park, tourists can opt for an adventure in the wildlife or relax on the pristine beaches on the Cat Ba Archipelago. Just around 25 km from Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay near Cat Ba Island is regarded as “the forgotten haven” and among the most beautiful bays on the planet. "If you have extra time outside of exploring Cat Ba, do yourself a favor and take a small cruise throughout Ha Long Bay," BuzzFeed recommended. The American website also suggests April to May or September to November is the ideal time to visit the park.

Sw Zealand, and Cinque Terre National Park in Italy, Banff National Paome other national parks named in the list are Fiordland National Park in Nerk in Canada, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in China, and Yala National Park in Sri Lanka.
