After 420 days of continuous construction, the third cable car route of the Ba Na Slings and Services JST opened on March 29, 2013. This cable car system has earned four Guinness World Records, making it a unique attraction.
The records held by the Ba Na Hills cable car include the longest one-wire sling at 5,777.61 meters; the longest distance between the two stations at 1,368.93 meters; the longest unbroken cable in the world at 11,587 meters; and the heaviest cable roll globally, weighing 141.24 tons.
With the launch of this outstanding cable car route, visitors to Ba Na Hills can enjoy a travel time of just 17 minutes. The cable car features 86 gondolas, each capable of carrying 10 passengers, with an average capacity of 1,500 guests per hour. The total investment in this cable car system was approximately €30 million.
