Ever wondered what it is like to be a fisherman and experience communal life? Then you should not miss the Vietnam Sea Villages Festival, which will take place in Ninh Thuan from August 1st to August 4th, 2025. This festival is part of the celebrations for Vietnam's National Tourism Year 2025.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has assigned the People’s Committee of Ninh Thuan to organize this event, alongside the Cham – Kate Festival 2025. The Sea Villages Festival is a unique opportunity for local communities to showcase their cultural richness, promote the potential for economic development in coastal and island regions, and highlight the importance of sea and island tourism.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. on August 2nd, 2025, at the city square. The inaugural art performance will feature the Vietnam Ballet Theater along with local performing arts troupes, celebrating Vietnamese maritime culture. The program will also be broadcast live on the VTV channel.
Additionally, the festival will include a variety of activities such as an arts performance contest, sports events, a cross-cultural culinary showcase, an exhibition fair, and a cultural exchange program designed for visitors to experience the charm of Ninh Thuan.
