A photo exhibition themed Ancient Saigon is being organized at Cosmo Café, located at 86 bis Lê Thánh Tôn, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
The open space in the café’s garden, situated behind the Fine Arts Museum, serves as the exhibition ground for 70 unique photos showcasing ancient Saigon. These photographs, captured in a journalistic style by various authors, vividly depict daily life in Saigon during the past, presenting a lively and authentic perspective. Images of street vendors, pavement cafés outside colonial-style hotels, mobile beer-selling vehicles, and the traditional costumes of Southern women, among others, allow visitors to immerse themselves in the everyday lives of Saigonese people in the early 20th century.
Travelers in Ho Chi Minh City are encouraged to visit Cosmo Café during August to witness the transformation of the "Far East Pearl" through black and white photography while enjoying a cup of coffee in a serene green space.
The exhibition runs daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., from August 9th to August 31st, 2025.
