American Scott Ezell to lecture on writing in Hanoi

If you're eager to express the breathtaking beauty of endless mountain ranges but find yourself struggling to find the right words, you're in luck. American poet Scott Ezell is back in Hanoi to help. Join him for his workshop “Postcards from Home – How to Turn Travel Experiences into Poetry”, designed for all aspiring travel poets.
 
This workshop will be hosted by Bookworm at their cooking center located at 44 Chau Long Street in Hanoi on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Over the course of three hours, Scott will provide attendees with guidance and lectures on transforming remarkable travel experiences into evocative poetry, capturing the essence and passion of your journeys.

To participate, attendees should have a good command of English writing, including grammar and vocabulary, as well as conversational fluency.
Those interested should register at Bookworm (44 Chau Long Street). The registration fee is VND 600,000 if paid before December 1, and VND 700,000 from December 2 until the day of the workshop.
 
Scott Ezell is a multi-genre artist who was born in the United States and has spent many years living in various parts of Asia. His body of work reflects a rich tapestry of cultural experiences, often inspired by his travels through numerous countries. Vietnamese audiences may particularly resonate with his poem cycle “Hanoi Rhapsodies” or his essay “The Road to My Lai.”
