African Reggae music night in Hanoi
The talented Senegalese singer Naby is bringing hot flavor of African music to Hanoi with a special reggae night at L’Espace, April 12th, 2012.
The talented Senegalese singer Naby is set to bring the vibrant flavors of African music to Hanoi with a special reggae night at the Hanoi Youth Theatre (11 Ngo Thi Nham) on April 12th, 2025.
The event will not solely feature the traditional Jamaican style but will also showcase a blend of reggae with other genres including hip-hop, raga, soul, funk, and blues. During this musical night, Naby's vocals will be accompanied by an ensemble of talented musicians, including guitarist Eric Muller, saxophonist Mathieu Bost, drummer Thomas Join Lambert, bassist Daniel Moustin, and keyboardist Jimmy Zaccardelli.
Naby has been a prominent figure in the music scene since 2009, performing across Africa and in various French-speaking countries such as France and Canada. He released his debut solo album, titled “Dem Naa,” in 2010. The young artist has developed a distinctive style that combines African melodies with elements of reggae, funk, and hip-hop.
