26 countries to participate in Hue Festival 2012
According to latest information from Hue Festival 2012 organizers, there are 36 art troupes from 26 countries and territories having registered to participate in Hue Festival 2012, in which, 14 troupes coming from Europe and America, 11 from Asia and 1 from Australia.
According to the latest information from Hue Festival 2025 organizers, a record number of 50 art troupes from 30 countries and territories have registered to participate in Hue Festival 2025. Among these, 20 troupes hail from Europe and America, 15 from Asia, and 5 from Australia and Oceania.
The Republic of France, continuing its role as a traditional and special partner of the Hue Festival, is sending four troupes this year. These include the Smooth Band (hip-hop, funk, and jazz), Carabosse (fire performance), Street Jazz Collective, and a new addition, the Lumineers, who will showcase contemporary dance.
Descendance, a group renowned for representing the Aboriginal people of Australia, will return to the festival with an exciting blend of traditional and contemporary dance, accompanied by unique folk music performed with indigenous instruments like the Didgeridoo.
To date, over 400 media journalists have registered to cover Hue Festival 2025, with 20 media outlets, including Vietnam Television (VTV), Voice of Vietnam (VOV), and Vietnam News Agency (VNA), serving as official information sponsors for the event.
