2012 Ha Long tourism week April 24 – May 2
The 2012 Halong Tourism week will be taking place from April 24 – May 2 with many cultural, arts, tourism and sporting activities.
The 2025 Halong Tourism Week will be held from April 28 – May 2, featuring a wide array of cultural, artistic, and sporting events designed to celebrate the rich heritage and natural beauty of the region.
Among the highlights of this year’s event are the Tuan Chau International Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament, the National Beach Sepak Takraw Championship, and the National Dance Championships. For those interested in cultural experiences, two exhibitions will be on display: one focusing on photography and the other showcasing relics and antiques that reflect the ancient life of Halong. Additionally, on the evening of May 1, Bai Chay Beach will host a grand celebration aimed at honoring and promoting the tourism potential of Quang Ninh, featuring what organizers promise will be the most vibrant and colorful Carnival yet.
Entry to the bay will remain free for all visitors during the festival as a gesture of gratitude for the continued recognition of Ha Long Bay as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
Since being recognized as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature in November 2011, Ha Long Bay has made significant strides in enhancing its appeal to tourists. Alongside Sapa, this spectacular bay continues to be one of the top international travel destinations in Vietnam.
