Phu Tho Geography
Phu Tho is in the northeastern region of Vietnam. Though considered a cradle to human beings, with the famous annual Hung King festivals, Phu Tho is still listed among the poorest in Vietnam. It has a population of almost 1,4 million people and famous for its Hung King temple complex and Xuan Son national park. Administratively, Phu Tho has 1 city, 1 township and 11 districts, with 275 rural communes.
