Dong Thap Map

Dong Thap is situated in the lowland region of the Mekong Delta and continues to experience significant flooding during the rainy season. The province is renowned for housing the largest Buddha statue in the Delta area, which has attracted both local and international visitors. As of 2025, Dong Thap comprises one primary city, Cao Lanh, along with 2 towns and 12 districts, reflecting recent administrative expansions aimed at enhancing governance and local development.
