President of News7Wonders, Mr. Bernard Weber, has just finished his trip to Ha Long on 27 September to award the certificate recognizing this destination as one of 28 nominees on the final round of New7Wonders of Nature campaign.
President of News7Wonders, Mr. Bernard Weber, recently completed his visit to Halong on September 27, 2025, where he awarded a certificate recognizing this stunning destination as one of the 28 nominees in the final round of the New7Wonders of Nature campaign. As part of his visit, he took a brief tour of Halong Bay to experience firsthand the breathtaking beauty of this natural masterpiece.
Weber expressed his deep admiration for the grandeur of Halong Bay, stating, “Halong Bay boasts a remarkable landscape unparalleled anywhere else in the world.” He urged the Vietnamese people to vote for Halong Bay through the updated SMS system and online voting platform to secure a favorable result in the final round.
Having triumphed over more than 440 destinations from 200 countries worldwide, Halong Bay is now among the final group of 28 landscapes in the New7Wonders of Nature campaign. The Vietnamese government recognizes this achievement as pivotal in its ongoing efforts to encourage more voting for Halong Bay in the month leading up to the conclusion of the voting period.
The New7Wonders of Nature campaign was originally launched in 2007 by the New7Wonders organization following the success of its previous initiative recognizing man-made wonders. This voting campaign aims to celebrate the world’s magnificent natural wonders, enhance global awareness of these extraordinary destinations, and promote the need for their preservation.
Voting for the New7Wonders of Nature will close on November 11, 2025.
