To promote tourism in 2025, on June 18th, the Thanh Hoa Exhibition and Tourism Promotion Center has collaborated with the Na Meo Border Guard Station to inaugurate an updated tourist information kiosk at the Na Meo international border gate in Thanh Hoa.
This updated tourist information kiosk plays a vital role in enhancing tourism in Vietnam for visitors from Laos and other regions, including Southeast Asia and Europe. It introduces the rich history, culture, and heritage of the Thanh Hoa people while further promoting tourism activities that highlight the scenic beauty and attractions of Thanh Hoa—an increasingly popular tourist destination.
The kiosk employs diverse promotional methods, utilizing images, videos, and a variety of publications such as books, newspapers, posters, and leaflets in both English and Vietnamese, which are provided to tourists during their entry procedures. Additionally, it seeks to garner support from international visitors for the nomination of Thanh Nha Ho (Ho Castle) as a UNESCO World Heritage site, amplifying its significance and recognizing its historical value.
