Cham Cultural Festival in Ninh Thuan
The 2012 Cham Cultural Festival is projected to take place in Ninh Thuan Province from 14 to 16 October with the main theme “Cham Culture – Preservation, Promotion and Integration”.
The 2025 Cham Cultural Festival is set to take place in Ninh Thuan Province from October 14 to October 16, focusing on the theme "Cham Culture – Preservation, Promotion, and Integration." This event is co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ninh Thuan provincial People's Committee.
The festival will feature representatives from nine provinces and cities where Cham culture has been preserved, including Binh Thuan, Phu Yen, An Giang, Tay Ninh, Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Over the three days of the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Cham culture through a diverse array of activities. These will include traditional folk games, sports events, a culinary festival showcasing Cham cuisine, and captivating performances by professional Cham artists.
The Cham Cultural Festival is an annual celebration held by the Central and Southern provinces of Vietnam, particularly in areas where Cham culture is actively maintained. The festival aims to introduce the essence of Cham culture to attendees, encouraging everyone to appreciate and preserve this rich heritage.
