Bird's Eye View of Nha Trang Bay from motorized kite
Besides familiar water sports like jet skiing, high speed boating, windsurfing, parachute pulling, tourists who travel to Nha Trang will be given exciting adventurous experiences.
Besides familiar water sports like jet skiing, high speed boating, windsurfing, parachute pulling, adventure diving... now, tourists who travel to Nha Trang will be given exciting adventurous experiences and panoramic view of the bay when joining a flight on motorized kite.
This new service has been launched recently by Hon Tam Company and Mai Linh Express Corporation in Nha Trang Sea Festival in summer 2011.
The motorized kite will fly at 150- 200 meters height above the sea and provide tourists with a birds-eye view of the entire Nha Trang Bay. Each kite can safely carry 400kg in weight at a maximum speed of 45km per hour. Tourists will be accompanied by a tour guide and given a golden chance to enjoy breath-taking view of the bay for 15 minutes.
There are two motorized kites are available for tourists now. Each flight lasting 15 minutes costs 600,000 VND ($28.84) per person.
