Ghenh Rang

Ghenh Rang continues to be one of the most captivating destinations in Binh Dinh, located 3 km southeast of Quy Nhon City. It boasts breathtaking natural scenery featuring mountains, forests, beaches, and islands that create a unique and picturesque landscape. To the southwest, majestic mountains meet the ocean, offering panoramic views of stunning natural beauty: the iconic Lion's Head rock that stretches toward the sea; the tranquil Waiting Statue; the Lying Elephant and Bear rocks that stand sentinel along the beaches; and Chong Islet, which appears fragile yet remains steadfast during fierce storms.

To the northeast of Ghenh Rang, the blue ocean embraces the white sandbanks, presenting cool waters complemented by breathtaking views. This stunning beach, celebrated as one of the finest in Binh Dinh, has welcomed beachgoers seeking relaxation for generations. In 1927, Bao Dai, the last emperor of Vietnam, constructed a villa for his family to unwind amidst this tranquil setting. He exclusively reserved the entire beach for Queen Nam Phuong, his cherished wife, leading to the beach's current designation as Queen Beach. When viewed from the mountain's summit, the beach resembles a vast turquoise expanse adorned with jade and granite formations. Locally, beyond the name "Queen's Beach," it is affectionately referred to as "Egg Stone" beach.
