Overview
Description
Located in central Sapa, Baguette and Chocolate Cafe and Hotel (B&C) is just a 5-minute walk from the town’s market and the iconic stone church. B&C features a cozy mini hotel with four elegantly French-style decorated rooms, accompanied by a café that serves a delightful mix of Vietnamese and Western cuisine, as well as French pastries and beverages. The café is part of an NGO initiative aimed at supporting disadvantaged and disabled tribal youth who seek training in tourism and hospitality. As a result, the staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming, though they may have varying levels of English proficiency.
B&C is widely recognized as the top spot in town for a hearty breakfast, offering meals at very reasonable prices (approximately VND 70,000/person as of 2025). Recommended dishes for main meals include a variety of local Vietnamese options and cheese lasagna. In the afternoons or evenings, guests can enjoy robust coffee and an assortment of cakes. Known for its delicious pastries and Parisian-style cakes, including variations sweetened with aromatic wild honey, B&C also offers vegetarian selections. This quaint café is particularly appealing during the cooler winter months when diners can savor a crispy croissant paired with a warm cup of coffee, providing a perfect escape from the chilly fog.
In addition, there is another B&C café located within the Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi, which features a spacious and lush environment, making it a lovely spot for visitors.

Upon arriving in Sapa, turn left onto Cau May Street. Continue straight until you reach Thac Bac. The café is situated along this street, conveniently close to the Church and the Central Market.
