It is a pity that tourists don’t seem to know about this lovely French restaurant although it is only ten-minute from Lam Son Square at District 1 and is usually listed in the weekly Time Out magazine restaurant guide. The ambiance here is charmingly romantic with its sophisticated, classy and spotless decorations of stunning floral arrangements on tables and Chinese porcelain and vintage travel posters on the wall. A recommended dinner would be smoked salmon as appetizer, duck confit with sautéed potatoes as main and crème brulee as dessert or a less traditional options like seared sliced beef with an endive and ginger salad or a foie gras terrine with fig chutney. Three tables-for-two lining the narrow balcony are waiting for romantic dates. Reservations for dinner are highly recommended.
Le Bordeaux is on D2 street which cuts Dien Bien Phu - a major street in Ho Chi Minh City
