2 Day 1 Night Itinerary
Day 1: Cai Be Floating Market
Boarding begins at Cai Be at noon, where guests are welcomed with refreshments and receive an introduction to the ship and crew before checking into their cabins. The cruise departs towards Cho Lach on the Tien Giang River, with lunch served en route.
Guests can relax on the deck and take in the surroundings. The Bassac then glides into the Cho Lach canal, navigating through the vibrant river traffic, surrounded by markets and historical churches. This is a unique opportunity to witness the diverse lives of people along the banks and on the water. A visit to a local village on the banks of the Mang Thit River offers insight into the hospitality and lifestyle of the local inhabitants. Excursions to nearby orchards or rice fields are also possible. Afterward, guests will board with a complimentary drink to welcome them back. They can unwind on the deck as they enjoy the sunset. Dinner will be served while cruising along the scenic Mang Thit River, with the Bassac anchoring just downstream from the quaint Tra On floating market for the night.
Day 2: Cai Rang - Can Tho
Guests are invited to rise for breakfast as early as 6:30 AM, as the ship resumes its cruise to the Tra On floating market. The ship then heads towards Can Tho, arriving at the Cai Rang floating market. After a check-out process, guests will transfer onto a local boat to explore the vibrant floating market before returning to Ninh Kieu Pier.
