History & Location
Just as true love must surpass various obstacles, the Valley of Love in Dalat has overcome many challenges to earn its cherished name today. Initially known as Vallée D’amour (Valley of Love) by the French, it was later renamed The Valley of Peace. In 1935, its enchanting beauty prompted people to once again name it after the most wonderful thing in the world: Love. Today, this valley is a popular honeymoon destination for newly-married couples and is often regarded as the Niagara Falls of Vietnam.

The Valley of Love is conveniently located approximately 6 kilometers (about 4 miles) from the center of Dalat, often referred to as the “Little Paris,” on Phu Dong Thien Vuong Street.
What to See
Over the years, it has remained one of the most picturesque and romantic spots in the city, featuring deep valleys and endless pine forests. The serene Da Thien Lake, created in 1972, also greatly enhances the valley's attractiveness. Visitors can easily traverse the valley through natural paths and staircases to admire the stunning flower gates and statues scattered throughout the area.

The trails lead to Vong Canh Hill, where visitors can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Valley of Love. From this vantage point, one can also spot the Langbian peaks standing tall against the blue sky. Adventurous souls might continue their exploration to Paradise Hill, another idyllic destination surrounded by beautiful lakes. Overall, the valley adds a delightful charm to any trip to romantic Dalat.

The site is open daily until 5:00 PM, with an entrance fee of approximately 25,000 VND (about $1). Plan your visit accordingly to make the most of your experience.
