Ben Dam Port functions as a vital gateway to Con Dao. Its significance goes beyond accommodating tourist boats; it also offers a safe haven for vessels during storms, thanks to its carefully sheltered location that mitigates wind impact. The port spans over two kilometers and features a sea bridge that measures 220 meters in length. Numerous wave breakers, processing facilities, a seafood market, and cold storage systems have been established to support the local fishing industry. This port is essential for receiving fresh seafood from offshore fishing activities, while also serving as a hub for the dynamic import and export activities typical of the region.

The waters surrounding the harbor are deep, and the area is renowned for favorable winds, making it an ideal destination for various water sports that invite travelers to engage in adventurous experiences.
