This weekend, Hanoi is forecasted to have humidity, with its temperature ranging from 30 – 36 Degree Celsius. Partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms are probable in the mornings, so steer clear of outdoor entertainment. Opt for indoor activities such as visiting a museum or enjoy a crowd pleasing film in the cinema are suggested. Save outdoor leisure for the evenings, when sky are likely to be clearer. A note of caution is that this season transition time is not friendly to outdoor people, and trivial cold is not uncommon. Have a honey lime tea before hitting the sack to keep cold at bay.

Ho Chi Minh City

After a beautiful sunny Friday with mostly clear skies, Saigonese will enter the weekend with variable clouds and scattered thunderstorms. The temperature hovers around 34-36Degree Celsius and humidity is moderate (50%).Umbrella and raincoats are the best accompaniments in this rainy season in case you plan to go out. Trips to Vung Tau Beach or Cat Tien National Park are highly recommended for those wanting to escape the hot humid weather.

Da Nang

Variable clouds and scattered thunderstorms are possible in Da Nang this weekend. Temperature ranges from 30C-35Degree Celsius and humidity is high at 74%. With the mixture of sun and clouds, however, you can still enjoy outdoor activities. Hit the Museum of Cham or go down a treat at Ba Na Resort with your umbrella and raincoat in case of rain.

Bike Free for environment 22 April

Bike Free for environment is a special event held by Bike Free organization to encourage people to use bicycle instead of CO2-exhasuting vehicles such as cars or motorbikes. The event is planned to take place in QSI International School (17, Lane 67, To Ngoc Van Street, Tay Ho District) on the whole morning of Sunday, 22 April from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm.

Air Mekong opens new direct flight between Hanoi and Con Dao

Air Mekong states that it is preparing to open new direct flights between Hanoi and Con Dao with too flights per week, starting from May 19^th this year. This is considered a response of Air Mekong to massive rising demand for travelling from Hanoi to the charming island Con Dao. The airline further reveals that if demands for flights on this new route continue to rise, it will increase 2 more flights per week.

Paris Children’s Choi to perform in Hanoi

Famous children choir of Paris National Opera has just finished two performances at Hanoi Opera House on April 18^th and 19^th 2012. The choir and symphony orchestra, consisting of 12 primary players and other 65 members, presented masterpiece opera L’Enfant et les Sortilèges (The Child and the Spells), a well-known opera by Maurice Ravel which express love for fairy tales of not only children but also adult.

Oliver Twist to be on stage in Vietnam this May

Information from British TNT Theater indicates that Oliver Twist, is expected to be on several stages in Vietnam this May 2012. Staging version of this novel by TNT is described as a combination of traditional physical theater, tragedy, comedy and live music. As announcement from the theater, the show is planned to be presented in Hanoi Opera House (Hanoi), Trung Vuong Theater (Danang) and Ho Chi Minh Opera House (Ho Chi Minh City) with entrance fee of VND  600,000 for adult and VND 300,000 for children.
