Air Mekong to open direct flight Hanoi – Con Dao

Domestic carrier Air Mekong is operating direct flight Hanoi – Con Dao twice per week, on Wednesday and Saturday, starting May 19^th, 2012. The flights departure at Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) at 1:00 pm, and land at Co Ong Airport (Con Dao Island) at 3:00 pm.

According to Air Mekong, the operation of direct flight Hanoi – Con Dao aims to satisfy the high demand for traveling to beaches and islands in the South of Vietnam during the summer peak season. If the demand for flights to Con Dao Island keeps increasing this summer, Air Mekong will add two more flights per week, on Thursday and Friday.

Especially, at the beginning of this summer, the carrier offers holiday makers good price on direct routes from Hanoi to Con Dao, or Phu Quoc, with only VND 2.4++ million per one way ticket for flights in between May 1^th and 20^th, 2012.

As planned, Air Mekong is increasing the number of current route Hanoi – Phu Quoc to nine flights per week, and Ho Chi Minh – Phu Quoc up to two or three flights per day, in summer 2012. An appealing price is also set for the one way flight Ho Chi Minh – Phu Quoc with only VND 835,000++ per ticket.
