This is another road in the tourism area of Hue City. It was constructed in the 19th century alongside other roads in the region. Originally named Bobillot by the French, it was renamed Nguyen Tri Phuong in 1956, a name that has remained to this day. Locally, it is also referred to as Nha Tho Nha Nuoc, meaning the State Church.
