Elephant Racing Festival in Dak Lak

The racecourse for the festival measures approximately 400 to 500 meters in length, with ample width capable of accommodating up to 30 elephants standing side by side. Before the race commences, a series of horn sounds at varying pitches fills the air. Following the directives of the event organizers, the elephants line up in front of the judges. Each intelligent elephant kneels down to acknowledge the judges and audience before proceeding to the starting line.

At the sound of the signal, the elephants spring forward energetically as the drumming, gongs, and cheers from the crowd reverberate throughout the surrounding forests and mountains. The elephants race through multiple rounds, with one ultimately emerging victorious.
