Hanoi University of Technology (HUT), officially known now as Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), was founded in October 1956 to educate engineers and technical specialists to support national industrial development. Over its nearly 70-year history, it has grown into Vietnam’s premiere technical university, producing thousands of skilled professionals annually.
The university boasts a comprehensive campus equipped with approximately 200 lecture halls, 200 research labs, expansive libraries, student study areas, and sports facilities. Its academic team comprises nearly 2,000 staff, including 200 professors and associate professors, 400 doctoral-level lecturers, and 1,200 master’s-degree holders across various engineering and technological disciplines.
