He has successfully established one of the largest and most luxurious restaurants in Halong, strategically located in the heart of downtown, just a short walk from premium hotels and Bai Chay Beach. The restaurant's design is inspired by the elegant architecture of a Vietnamese palace in Hue, featuring intricate wooden elements and a beautifully landscaped front garden.
Co Ngu offers a diverse selection of seafood showcasing both Western and Vietnamese culinary traditions. Recommended dishes include Foie Gras served with toast, French-style baked oysters, steamed pig trotters infused with Chinese herbs, and a signature shark fin soup. Prices remain quite reasonable, with soup starting at approximately $1 and Western main courses priced around $10. Hot pots range from $20 to $40, and the restaurant features over 50 varieties of fresh seafood sold by the kilogram, with prices varying from $1 to $100 per kg.
