Ton Duc Thang street

Used to be known as Hàng Bột (the Flour street), this long and always busy street is now only remembered as Ton Duc Thang.

Previously known as Hàng Bột (Flour Street), this bustling thoroughfare is now officially recognized as Tôn Đức Thắng. Like many streets in Hanoi, it features a variety of specialized shops – in this case, primarily focusing on footwear. Unlike Cầu Gỗ or the northern section of Phan Bội Châu, however, Tôn Đức Thắng showcases shoes behind glass displays, with prices that remain reasonable. Most establishments concentrate on men's shoes and athletic footwear, and there's even a prominent shoe supermarket located centrally along the street. Notably, the end of the street, where it intersects with Cát Linh, is dedicated to selling high-quality window curtains tailored to fit your specific window dimensions.
