Dai Co Viet street

Dai Co Viet is recognized as one of the earliest official names for Vietnam, established by King Dinh Tien Hoang in 968 AD. Lenin Park occupies one side of the road, while the opposite side is lined with residential houses. The road is wide and bustling, much like many other thoroughfares in Hanoi, making it challenging for pedestrians to cross, particularly since traffic lights are infrequent. As of 2025, a new underground pedestrian tunnel has been constructed to improve traffic flow and ensure safer passage for foot traffic.
