New Ho Chi Minh City – Phnom Penh luxury bus

A luxury bus service between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnom Penh was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on 25 May as a private - public cooperation between Cambodia Tourism Ministry and Cambodia’s leading hotel-casino NagaWorld.

With a branch office in Ho Chi Minh City and a fleet of 20 28-seat luxury buses (video, massage seats and toilets) at a total cost of US$3 million, NagaWorld provides six trips a day from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh and back.

The launch of the luxury bus service is the effort of the Cambodia Tourism Ministry to attract more Vietnamese tourists to visit Cambodia by the bus route from Ho Chi Minh City. Equally important is the new opportunity for international travelers to visit Vietnam, as the two nations have reached a cross-border transportation agreement, which makes it easier for foreigners to access Vietnam from Cambodia instead of taking long-haul flights.
