Vietnam considered the best-value destination for Australian tourists

The pitiful depreciation of VND is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Australian tourists.

New Zealand, the US, Indonesia, the UK, Thailand, Fiji and China were Australians' favorite travel destinations during 2010 but this year has seen the emergence of novel destinations, among which Vietnam is the most charming stopover. According to a latest study, Vietnam has come to the top of the Expedia HiFX Foreign Exchange Index, which observes currency fluctuations against the Australian dollar with an aim of finding the most affordable destinations for Aussies.

Specifically, last year, the dollar appreciated by more than 23% against the Vietnam dong which surpassed Hungary, Latvia, Denmark, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and the Czech Republic to make Vietnam top the list of the value-for-money destinations. This brings about the unique opportunity for Aussies to make full use of the fascinating exchange rate to have a good time in Vietnam, the a growingly popular country in Asia with fabulous coastal seaside, superb mountains and rich culture. And it comes as no surprise that Vietnam will welcome international guests with both heartfelt hospitality and numberless surprising deals.
