The Centre and Central Highland to celebrate culture and tourism
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Vietnam has decided to organize a grand Festival in the Centre and Central Highland of Vietnam this July.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Vietnam has announced the organization of a major festival in the Central and Central Highlands regions of Vietnam, scheduled to take place in July 2025. With the theme “Sea and Island Tourism,” the festival will see participation from 13 regional provinces including Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, and Lam Dong.
The festival will be held from July 1st to 7th, 2025, featuring three main activities:
July 1 - 3: Festival of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands
July 1 - 5: Sports Events “Tourism in South Central Coast – Phu Yen 2025”
July 6 - 9: Food Festival
This festival aims to promote national and regional tourism while showcasing the characteristics and cultural traditions of local communities. The event is designed to leverage the potential of tourism resources and attract investments from both domestic and international tourists, ultimately fostering the growth of Vietnamese tourism. Additionally, the festival encourages participation from residents in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands in the initiative “All People Unite to Build a Cultural Life” and the longstanding campaign inspired by Ho Chi Minh focused on “All People Engaging in Physical Exercise for Mutual Health.”
Alongside the celebration of Phu Yen's 400 years of development, the festival will serve as a platform to deepen understanding of patriotism and pride in Vietnamese history and tradition, history.
