History
Established on December 7, 1993, as Mai Linh Limited Company with an initial capital of VND 300 million, two four-seat cars, and 25 staff members, the company has tirelessly evolved into a major group with a charter capital exceeding VND 1,000 billion. Although Mai Linh Group now operates across eight business sectors, its primary focus remains on transportation, which includes the popular Mai Linh Express.
Mai Linh Sleeper Bus
This branch of Mai Linh Group boasts a fleet of over 500 vehicles of various capacities — from 16 to 45 seats — produced by renowned manufacturers such as Ford, Hyundai, and Mercedes. As of 2025, Mai Linh Express operates on 49 routes connecting 27 provinces from the North to the South, and its services to Cambodia have also gained considerable recognition.
The company's motto, “On Time, No Smoking, and No Waiting,” is designed to meet the expectations of even the most discerning passengers. To enhance safety and efficiency, Mai Linh uses an intelligent Geographic Information System (GIS) that incorporates GPS devices installed on most of its coaches, enabling real-time tracking of routes and speeds to reduce accidents and anticipate traffic congestion.
Since its inception, Mai Linh Express has received numerous accolades, including "The Strong Brand of Vietnam" and "Vietnam’s Famous Enterprise," awarded by prestigious organizations such as the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Nielsen. Customers frequently report high satisfaction with the company’s service quality, with minimal negative feedback.
The company's headquarters is located in Ho Chi Minh City, which serves as the primary departure point for most of its routes.
