Hue Airport - Phu Bai International Airport - (HUI)

Hue Airport or Phu Bai Airport (HUI) is one of the main ports for the central part of Vietnam, alongside with Da Nang and Cam Ranh International Airports.

Phu Bai International Airport is one of the main airports for passengers to Central Vietnam. It is situated in Huong Thuy Town, 15km from the central city of Hue to the southeast. The airport's infrastructure can accommodate 1.5 million passengers per year and big airplanes like Airbus A320, Airbus A321.

There are 2 floors in the airport, the 1st floor is for arrival, check-in process together with refreshments and fast food outlets, and the 2nd floor is for departure.

The small domestic terminal in Phu Bai International Airport handles domestic routes to Hanoi, Da Lat, and Ho Chi Minh City (a few flights daily) served by Vietnam Airlines and VietJet Air.

Despite being an international airport, Phu Bai International Airport hasn't offered international flights yet.

From Hue airport to city center

There are several ways to get from Phu Bai International Airport to city center such as buses, taxis, or Grab services.

Bus: you can take the Futabus of Phuong Trang Bus Service. However, to catch the bus, you have to walk about 10 minutes to the parking area of the airport. 

Taxi: taxi is undoubtedly the easiest but also the most expensive way to reach the airport. The price costs around 220.000 VND/way. The total transfer time is around 30 minutes.

In addition, at present, you can easily book a motorbike or car from various applications such as Grab, Fast-Go.
