Cathay Pacific excels in its meal service, particularly with an extensive selection of wines available for Business and First Class passengers. Among these, the white wine selections have received particularly high praise. For dessert lovers, the airline’s ice cream is a cherished treat, often leading to requests for seconds. Furthermore, passengers traveling during the Moon Festival (in August on the lunar calendar) have the opportunity to enjoy high-quality mooncakes—a delightful offering during this festive period. However, a noted shortcoming is that the meal offerings in Economy Class may not be as diverse or palatable.
Cathay Pacific Safety Record
Cathay Pacific Airways is recognized as one of the safest airlines globally, with a commendable history marked by very few fatal incidents throughout its extensive 75 years of operations. Most significant incidents occurred prior to advancements in airline safety regulations and technology.
