The size limitation for cabin luggage is 115 cm (45 inches) in total dimensions—this corresponds to 55 cm in length, 25 cm in height, and 40 cm in width (equivalent to 22 inches, 10 inches, and 16 inches respectively).

This cabin luggage should be stored in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you. Additionally, Economy Class passengers may carry extra items such as a laptop, handbag, umbrella or hat, and personal electronic devices like MP3 players or mobile phones, although the use of electronic devices should comply with crew instructions.

Checked Luggage

All Nippon Airways permits passengers in all classes to check two pieces of luggage without additional charges, provided the total dimensions do not exceed 203 cm. First Class passengers are allowed an additional piece. The maximum weight for checked baggage is 23 kg (50 lb) for Economy Class, and 32 kg (70 lb) for both Business and First Class.

Travelers with infants under 2 years old can also check an additional piece of luggage with the same weight allowances as adults. Extra fees will apply for baggage that exceed the specified limitations, ranging from approximately $15 to $200 USD, depending on the excess weight and dimensions.
