Hanoi

Hanoi would be occasionally cloudy this weekend; however the general condition is anticipated to be good. The very first days of autumn is blessing Hanoian with gentle wind and moderate sunshine. The sunlight these days does not do any harm but suntan. Trips to the suburb to see fisherman fishing or farmers doing the farm-work by bike are highly recommended. The only notice is that it is quite easy to catch cold at these early autumn days, so sheltering from light rain is necessary.

Danang

It is not perfect weather for sea-bath, yet it is alright for every outdoor activities. There maybe some lightening and the sky may get cloudy sometimes but it is Vietnam typical autumn characteristic. A trip to Ngu Hanh Son mountain may not be a wise choice but every else landscapes of Danang would be at its best condition this time, especially Ba Na Hill.

Ho Chi Minh City

It seems that the weather is the same along the S-shaped country. There is no extreme sunshine, no extreme rain, the temperature is good and the wind speed is all alright. Tourism authorities have just approved an inner waterway tour launched by a local tourism firm and it promises at least new feeling. Otherwise a trip to religious sites such as Giac Lam Pagoda is recommended.

Vietnam Cultural Festival to be held in Japan

The 2012 Vietnam Cultural and Tourism Festival in Japan – an annual event that attracts hundred thousand of visitors will be organized in Japan’s capital Tokyo City and Fukuoka City from 11 to 20 September. Screenings of 5 Japan music movies in Hanoi

The Japanese Music Film Weekend named “OTO|EIGA” hosted by Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange and Hanoi Cinematheque from 14 to 16 this September is coming up. Five outstanding musical movies of contemporary Japanese cinema industry reflecting many aspects of modern lives in Japan, providing a deeper sight to audiences to current music art in various genres, from electro and dance to rock and hip hop are waiting with no admission required.

Ho Chi Minh City begin to launched inner waterways tour

On 2 September, the first cruise trip along inner waterways of Ho Chi Minh City was launched by Indochina Junk Company under approval of The People Committee of District 8. This is the special tourism products created for both local and international travelers who are interested in daily lives of multicultural communities living along these canals, as well as attractions there. At present, the tour is in trial time with observation of performances from the local government, and if there are positive outcomes, this tourism type will be further developed.

National Tourism Year 2013 focus on Red River Delta

The 2013 National Tourism Year will concentrate on tourism industry in Red River Delta, said the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The event will cover a large geographical area including various cities and provinces in the North of Vietnam such as Hai Duong, Hanoi, Bac Ninh or Quang Ninh. In addition, the Ministry has also published the detailed plan for next year national tourism year with diverse attractive activities to express the most elites in culture and tourism of all Red River Delta provinces.
