The number of visitors to Cu Lao Cham boosted in the yearly new year

The lunar new year of the snake has brought positive signals of another successful national tourism year 2013 with significant increase in the number of tourists to Vietnam in general and Quang Nam Province specifically.

The lunar new year of the snake has brought positive signals of another successful national tourism year 2013 with significant increase in the number of tourists to Vietnam in general and Quang Nam Province specifically.

According to Mr. Tran Tan Dung - The Secretary of Party Committee of Tan Hiep Town, Hoi An City, from the 1st to the 8th day of the lunar new year, Cu Lao Cham welcomed more than 4,000 visitor (increase by 50% compared to the same period last year).

On the 2nd day and 7th day of Tet Holiday, this famous tourism destination even reached 800 visitors each day. Mr. Tran Tan Dung explained this great achievement is thanks to restless attempt of the local government to improve the service quality in Cu Lao Cham, as well as the support of the nice weather to attract more visitors to come and worship Hai Tang Pagoda.
