The number of visitors to Cu Lao Cham boosted in the yearly new year
The lunar new year of the snake has brought positive signals of another successful national tourism year 2013 with significant increase in the number of tourists to Vietnam in general and Quang Nam Province specifically.
The lunar new year of the snake has ushered in 2025, signaling another promising year for national tourism in Vietnam, particularly in Quang Nam Province, which has seen a notable increase in visitors.
According to Mr. Tran Tan Dung, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan Hiep Town, Hoi An City, from January 22 to January 29, Cu Lao Cham welcomed over 6,000 visitors, reflecting a 25% increase compared to the same period last year.
On the 2nd and 7th days of the Tet Holiday, this renowned tourist destination recorded daily visits of 1,000 guests each day. Mr. Tran Tan Dung attributed this achievement to the local government's ongoing efforts to enhance service quality in Cu Lao Cham, along with favorable weather conditions that have drawn more visitors to worship at Hai Tang Pagoda.
