Spring Fair 2012 to be held from 12 to 21 January

According to Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Spring Fair 2012 has been opened at Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Centre (148 Giang Vo Street, Hanoi) from 12 January until 21 January. This is an annual associated event between the ministry and Hanoi People Committee in the occasion of Tet Holiday.

 
This year Spring Fair is collection point of about 600 domestic and international businesses to introduce their products in different genres such as foods, clothes, furniture, plants, shoes, electronic devices and convenient products. Moreover, there are 120 kiosks to show and sell specialties of 35 areas in Vietnam, such as Hoa Binh Rượu Cần, Năm Roi pomelo, Thai Nguyen Tea, Dien Bien rice and Uoc Le sausages.

In addition to the commercial side of fair, there are cultural activities to present elite of Vietnam’s culture and help people to understand more about traditional belief of Vietnam on Tet Holiday such as martial art performances, circus and traditional rite. 
 
Spring Fair in Hanoi has become an attractive place for all local people and travellers in this city to visit to go shopping and enjoy festive atmosphere of Tet. This is also an occasion companies to introduce their products and services to a wide range of customers, and show the development of Vietnam’s industry last year.
