In an effort to boost the image of Sapa tourism, the governing officials have recently implemented a new campaign to improve the destination’s tourism and commercial activities.
The campaign is deployed in the 11-15 period in Sapa, with its major goal of raising individuals and organizations’ awareness in this charming town in term of tourism activities, and encouraging people to preserve traditional feature of the communities, especially minor groups, to develop a sustainable tourism environment. Also, jobs in tourism industry for local minorities are a crucial approach of this campaign.
Ethnic community is one of the most attraction of Sapa
At present, Sapa authority are sending officials to areas where tourism industry is developing, especially minor towns at which there is a huge number of local people working as tour guide, street vendors and tourism-services suppliers. Early results of this campaign are swift, as many more towns have become new locations for trading and introducing traditional elite of Sapa’ community to travelers.
Sapa is considered one of the most attractive tourism destinations in Vietnam, which fascinate thousands of visitors annually. The area possesses a great value for different sorts of tourism, but most tempting should be cultural tourism with the presence of many ethnic communities.
