Rock storm to hit Vietnam from North to South

Rock Storm 2011 – the biggest nationwide rock show of the year is going to kick off on 12 November 2011, 8 AM at My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi with a scale of more than ten thousands audiences. The enthusiasm, inherited from last years’ shows, is promising a night of burning passion.

The bands in this show are the most popular bands in Vietnam which has been carefully selected and casted, including: “Ngu Cung”, Rosewood, Final Stage, Re-cycle, “I-Tễu”, “Quai vat ti hon” and “Cuoc song S”. Performances are directed by the famous director Duc Trung and staged by Japanese musical expert Masaaki Azuna.

The show will feature food and drink carts, run by local students, which aim to create a wholesome event for music lovers and youngsters alike. All proceeds from the show will benefit Operation Smile Vietnam and the Disadvantaged Good Students Foundation.

The show is expecting to draw a large crowd, however there has been rising concern over the stadium being not an ideal venue for a rock show, for the common lack of proper equipments can hamper the sound and the surrounding setting is not quite suitable in general.
