International watersport championships to take place in Phan thiet next year

International windsurfing championship named Vietnam PWA Cup will be organized from 10 to 18 February 2012, while another world kite-surfing championship named Vietnam PKRA Cup will last from 25 February to 3 March 2012. The two competitions will take place at Doi Duong resort (Phan Thiet town, Binh Thuan province), gathering numerous well-known players from all around the world.

Binh Thuan province, host of these global events, is spending much effort on preparation for these cups to make it most successful that they can. Binh Thuan authorities expect the success of these championships to be perfect occasion to promote and raise reputation of province tourism industry.

These international windsurfing and kite-surfing championship have been organized in recent year in Phan Thiet with participation of many famous players around the world. The events attracted a huge number of guests come and watch the games, which were crucial pushes to tourism in Binh Thuan in particular and Vietnam in general.
