Contemporary German movies week at the beginning of 2012

In the early beginning of 2012, lovers of cinema, especially German cinema movies, are given chances to catch up with the development of contemporary movies in this country with the German movie festival held from 6 to 11 January 2012 at Goethe Institute in Hanoi. No ticket is required to enter the premier.

Broadcasting on this festival are 7 outstanding movies of German modern cinema industries with different special topics under the creativity of young German directors. Audiences can find various issues and hot topics of the modern world on these movies such as homosexuality, economic crisis or nuclear leakage.

Also, there are some short movies with duration of about 70 minutes from various genres, comedy to tragedy, which are presented in the evening of 9 January to bring different moods and emotions to the audience.

Goethe Institute is one of the most dynamic international associations in spreading German culture to Vietnamese. This festival is among many programs, from music to language, movies to literature, carried out by Goethe Institute. These programs are highly expected by Vietnamese audience for their high quality and diversity.
