Air Mekong's expansion plan under way for summer 2012

Summer season is always one of the busiest periods of the year for Vietnam's tourism, so the demand for flights to and between different destinations in Vietnam increases significantly. Air Mekong is planning on raising its number of flights during this period.

The airline is currently operating more than 50 flights on from Hanoi to popular tourism destinations of Vietnam such as Phu Quoc, Con Dao Island or Da Lat. Among these routes, direct flights from Hanoi to Phu Quoc are projected to have highest number of additional flights with 9-10 extra ones per week.

More flights will help more passenger reach the scenic Con Dao Islands

In addition, Air Mekong plans to open new direct route from Hanoi to Con Dao Islet, as well as from Tay Nguyen to seashore tourism locations such as Phu Quoc and Con Dao.

Air Mekong is a private air corporation in Vietnam that has operated from October 2010. At present, the airline only provides flights among different destinations of Vietnam with reasonable price and acceptable quality services.
