A version of the famous tragedy Adromaque of the great French playwright Jean Raicine is going to be on stage at Hanoi Opera House on December 15th, 2011.
The play is co-organized by French cultural center in Hanoi - L’espace, the Embassy of France in Vietnam and Vietnam National Theater. After the debut in Hanoi
, the play will be presented to the French public in the season 2012-2013. This upcoming adapted play is written by Jon Fosse, based on the initial five-act tragedy Andromaque, and directed by Jean-Marie Lejude

With the participation of eight artists, including four French and four Vietnamese, the play will be performed in two languages (with Vietnamese subtitle when necessary). The artists’ gestures and love languages are expected to remove the language barrier.

This is not the first play directed by Jean-Marie in Vietnam. The prestigious French director successfully conducted the play La Fontaine Fables in the 50th anniversary of Hanoi Academy of Theater and Cinema.
