For those travelers currently in Da Nang whose next destination is Singapore, SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, is currently providing four flights a week to the city-state of the Mer-lion.

Taking advantage of being the only international carrier operating flights out of Da Nang, SilkAir has expanded its offer of weekly flights from Da Nang to Singapore to four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. More importantly, two of these flights (on Wednesday and Friday) include a stopover in Siem Reap and therefore passengers can have a chance to visit the kingdom of Cambodia en route to Singapore.

Direct service between Da Nang and Singapore definitely provides clients with more convenience, pleasure and flexibility, minus the hassle of booking different airlines to get to the final destinations. Also, airfares are kept at a very reasonable rate with the goal of attracting a wide range of customers travelling for leisure, business and study purpose as well as to promote tourism, trade and business links between the two countries.

SilkAir now offers more than 400 weekly flights to 35 destinations in 11 countries mostly around Southeast Asia, India and China. The airline has been listed as the Best Regional Airline in the annual Travel Awards for 10 years between 1995 and 2009. In 2010, it received an honour of being inducted into TTG Asia’s Travel Awards Hall of Fame at the 21st Travel Awards.

Booking and reservation are available at its official website at www.silkair.com, the representative in Da Nang (Floor 8, Hoang Anh Gia Lai hotel) or other SilkAir’s authorized agents in central provinces from Quang Ngai to Hue.
