Love is in the air with Japanese Film Festival 2011

This October and November, audience in Hanoi and Danang will be deeply soaked in love with the love stories coming from Japan at Japanese Film Festival 2011, brought about by The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam.

In Hanoi, free tickets can be collected from October 7th, 2011; 9:30 to 18:00 (Monday - Saturday), at Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam (27 Quang Trung, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi). The venue is at National Cinema Center (87 Lang Ha, Ba Dinh, Hanoi).

In Danang, free ticket are available from November 1, 2011 at Le Do Cinema (46 Tran Phu, Hai Chau, Da Nang) and Film Distribution and Cinema Center (68 Tran Phu, Hai Chau, Da Nang).

As “Love” is the theme of this festival, 8 movies chosen this year perfectly describe Japanese love in every aspect, in various directions. Almost all films selected hold both Japan and international awards and all of them are highly acclaimed by critics. They will be screened with both English and Vietnamese subtitles, in an effort to help Vietnamese audience and foreigners enjoy the diversity of Japanese films and also witness the variety of love.
